How much is this going to cost?
Our average client investment is $1,000-$2,200 for portraits, and $3,500-$5,000 for weddings. Some clients spend more, and others spend less. Your personal investment will vary based on the products you love and what you’d like to purchase for your home. Do you have an empty wall that you’d like to fill with portraits of your loved ones? Would you like an album to re-live this season of your life with your kiddos through the years? I understand that everyone has different needs and desires for their session experience, for this reason, all sessions include a $500 credit to apply to the products you love, and all sessions begin with a conversation. What is a retainer fee and is it refundable?
A retainer is a non-refundable fee paid upon signing of your contract. It is used to give a piece of mind to all parties involved. Your benefit lies in knowing that your date is reserved for you and that under any circumstances I will not be pursuing other work for that particular time, regardless if a higher paying opportunity arises. In an unfortunate event that a session or wedding is canceled or postponed, there’s close to no chance that I will be able to book a client for the date that I have been holding for you. A retainer protects my business from losing income due to circumstances outside of my control.
What is a consultation?
A consultation is simply a conversation. This is where we will discuss your vision for your session and create a plan for how to display your images in a way that works best for your home. Upon booking, I will provide you with wardrobe suggestions and you’ll receive access to our client-exclusive style guide. We will discuss helpful items to bring with you for your session and how to prepare for the shoot. The consultation is a relaxed meeting where I’ll guide you step-by-step through the session process so on your session day, you’ll know exactly what to expect and you can immerse yourself in the experience.
Do I have to print through you, or can I just get the digital images?
At JMEG Photography, we believe you deserve the very best, so during your time with us, you have both beautiful keepsakes and digital imagery! For portrait sessions, you will receive the matching digital file, sized to print up to 8x10, for any collection or art piece purchased. Contact us for details.

What should we wear?
After your session is booked, you will receive access to our client-exclusive style guide. This guide gives you the ability to coordinate outfits for you and everyone in your family all from the comfort of your home!
*Products from this guide do take 7-10 days to arrive, so you’ll want to be sure to plan ahead when selecting your outfits.

Yes! I specialize in weddings and intimate family/motherhood/newborn lifestyle portraits.

The most popular item is the 10x10 signature album. My style is very focused around telling the story of this season of your life. Albums can be easily stored on a bookshelf, or set out to enjoy on a coffee table. I take care of designing the layouts in a gorgeous, lay-flat design to tell the story of this milestone so your only job is to turn through the pages of your life, and relish in the memories. Our albums are one of a kind and are meant to last so you can pass them down for future generations.
